These terms are an agreement between you and Hustlrs. By using the app you agree to them, so please read them.

What Hustlrs is

Hustlrs is a free app for step challenges with your friends. You add friends, see each other's weekly steps, and challenge each other to weekly 1v1 Hustles. Your steps come from Apple Health.

Who can use Hustlrs

You must be at least 16 years old to use Hustlrs. You need an iPhone with Apple Health to take part in step challenges.

Your account

• You can sign up with Apple, Google or email. Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your display name, @username and profile photo must not be offensive or pretend to be someone else.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This permanently deletes your account, profile, steps and Hustle data.

Hustles

• A Hustle is a weekly 1v1 step challenge between you and a friend. It runs from Monday to Sunday and has a step target.
• Each Hustle has a forfeit: a friendly dare or treat the loser does, like buying the winner a Nando's. Forfeits are up to 30 characters.
• The loser posts a photo taken with the in-app camera as proof they did the forfeit. Their opponent can see it. The photo can be retaken for 15 minutes after it is posted, then it is locked.
• Results are based on the step counts from Apple Health. Step counts can sometimes be delayed or inaccurate, and we cannot guarantee they are perfect.

Forfeits

• No money changes hands in Hustlrs. Forfeits are agreed between friends and carried out outside the app.
• Hustlrs is not responsible for forfeits, and we cannot make anyone do one.
• You must not set a forfeit that is dangerous, illegal, sexual, or involves money or gambling. We may remove forfeits or accounts that break this rule.

Fair play and behaviour

Hustlrs has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By using Hustlrs you agree not to post anything offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or illegal, in photos, names, usernames or forfeits.

• Your steps must be your own. Do not fake steps, for example by using a device to shake your phone or adding steps manually to cheat.
• Proof photos must be real and appropriate.
• Do not harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone. Follow our community guidelines in the app.
• You can block people and report them, or their photos, in the app. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms and remove the accounts responsible.

Hustlrs Pro

Hustlrs Pro is an optional subscription: £2.99 a month or £19.99 a year (or the local equivalent shown in the app). Pro adds group Hustles of more than 3 people, more than 3 Hustles at once, Hustles longer than a week, full head-to-head stats, Last Week's and Last Month's Pace, and Gold and Clean forfeit card styles. It never gives anyone an advantage in a Hustle, and people you invite join free.

Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase and billed to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Pro is not needed to use the core app.

Your health

Hustlrs is not medical advice. Check with a doctor before making a big increase in your activity, especially if you have a health condition. Step counts and any health facts in the app are estimates. Listen to your body and stop if something feels wrong.

Your content

You own the photos and text you post. You give us permission to store and show them in the app so Hustlrs can work, for example showing your forfeit photo to your opponent. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Liability

Hustlrs is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We are not responsible for forfeits, for what happens between friends outside the app, or for inaccurate step counts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we will let you know in the app. If you keep using Hustlrs after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
