What Hustlrs is
Hustlrs is a commitment platform. You put a deposit on your own declared targets and keep the share you complete, proven by checking in at real locations. Hustlrs is a test of your own behaviour, not a game of chance: you alone control whether you complete your activities, and no member can ever win another member's money.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to use Hustlrs with real money.
Deposits and charges
- When you join or create a hustle, your card is saved with Stripe. Nothing is charged at that point, and nothing is charged when the hustle starts.
- By joining, you authorise Hustlrs to charge your saved card after the hustle ends for the forfeited share of your deposit, without further action from you.
- At the end of the hustle, you are charged only for the share of your target you did not complete. Complete 75% and you are charged 25% of your deposit. Complete everything and you are charged nothing.
- Your outcome depends only on your own completion. Forfeited money is never paid to other members and there is no pot to win.
- Forfeited amounts are retained by Hustlrs as its platform fee for providing the accountability service.
- If a charge fails, we may retry it via our payment processor.
Joining, leaving and cancellation
- A hustle's terms (activities, targets, deposit, dates) are locked once it is created. For each activity you check in at a real location: by default every member pins their own location, but a host may instead set fixed locations that all members must use. Either way, the locations that apply to your hustle are visible to its members.
- You can leave a hustle at any time before it starts. Nothing has been charged, so leaving costs nothing.
- If a friends hustle does not have at least two members by its start time, it is cancelled automatically and no one is charged. The host can also cancel a hustle before it starts.
- Once a hustle starts you are committed for the week and cannot leave.
Fair play
- Each activity's proof is set by the host: a photo taken at the pinned location, a GPS check-in alone, or a live photo alone. Where an activity has a pinned location, you must actually be there for the check-in to count, and the camera only unlocks there. Photos must always be taken live in the app.
- Attempting to cheat (spoofing your location, manipulated submissions, or misrepresenting an activity's location) may result in removal from hustles or account termination. You remain liable for forfeits already incurred.
Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, abuse other members, or attempt to defraud the platform.
Liability
Hustlrs is provided as is. We're not liable for losses arising from your failure to complete your declared activities, from inaccurate device location readings, or from events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
